Pennsylvania Pepper

Today's BlogTrotting tour guide is The Pepper, which keeps reminding me of Dr. Pepper, which happens to be a very much beloved beverage of myself and of Carabee, BlogTrotting queen.

But back to The Pepper who describes herself as a "crafty first-time mama." Her site is under construction, but it's looking great so far. Don't mind the dust as she gives us a tour of Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

Wouldn't you like to be with Pepper too?

Let's Go!

Californy Is The Place You Ought To Be!

We're visiting a blogger today who is on the precipice of a big move. A lifelong resident of Orange County, she prepares to move to northern California with her beau. We east coasters forget just how big California is. The distance between Lauren's old home and her new one is greater than the distance between me (in Baltimore) and the yahds and pahks in Bahston. And I have to cross through six states to get there. Yeah, it's far. It's no wonder she worries they might speak a different language up there.

Now let's go wish Lauren luck on her new home and take a little tour of her old one!

Motor City!

We're off to visit Alita in Michigan today. She's a photographer, mom and nature lover. She has a sick kiddo today, so we're hoping she's okay to give us a tour of her home near Detroit. I know Alita is eager to show us what a beautiful and vibrant city it is!

Let's head on over to see her!

Look out Music City . . .

Anyone ever see That Thing Called Love? A great little movie from 1993 starring Samantha Mathis, Dermot Mulroney, Sandra Bullock, and River Phoenix (one of his last roles, I think). Did you see it? I really like the film. It's set in Nashville, a city I really like, and centers around a group of young country music hopefuls. I also really like country music.

A line repeatedly shouted throughout the movie is: "Look out Music City, cause here I am and I ain't never leavin'!"

Look out, BlogTrotters, because today we're heading to Nashville. Our tour guide is Robin Dodd, of Robin Dodd Photography, which suggests she's always "looking out" at Nashville (from behind her camera), even if not necessarily yelling at Nashville.

Let's Go!

Bridge to Iowa

Despite growing up just next door in Kansas, I spent very little time in Iowa. While it certainly has a lot to offer, it's charms are more of the understated variety. It wasn't until a movie called The Bridges of Madison County came out that I became aware of that element of Iowan architecture. Who would have guessed the state harbored such charming little gems. I imagine it inspired more than one roadtrip, my own family included.

But we're visiting Des Moines today. A lovely city that is home to our featured BlogTrotter, Megan. She is super cute and her blog is so charming so please head on over to see her!
